About RuneCharted
The worlds
between the pages.
RuneCharted is a fan-made atlas for readers who keep turning back to the map at the front of the book. We turn source-informed geography into original 3D dioramas you can explore from above.
Six settings, two ways to look
The collection currently includes Orrun, Scadrial, Prythian, Albermaine, Roshar and Erilea. Each pack connects a wider overview with a closer view of a city, island, castle or landscape. Roshar also includes a later-book scene behind a reveal control.
Browse the live map collection for each pack’s scope and spoiler notes. Other books on the home page are marked as upcoming; they do not yet have a playable atlas.
Clear about what comes from the books
The atlas distinguishes named geography and textual references from architectural interpretation. A place on a published map can establish where a city lies without establishing the shape of its buildings, every street or its population.
Building plans, materials, incidental streets and character staging are original visual interpretations. The project’s source notes record reference maps, research limits and decisions. No printed map or book-cover image is reproduced in the 3D viewer.
Built for exploring, with care around spoilers
The maps focus on settings rather than recreating later plot outcomes. In the Stormlight atlas, major later-book places require a choice to reveal them; some minor later-map geography remains visible with a note. Other maps can still show location and character names ahead of a reader’s current chapter.
Read the guide for your book before launching the map. There is no chapter-by-chapter spoiler filter.
An independent fan project
RuneCharted is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the authors, illustrators or publishers of these books. Titles, character names and place names belong to their respective owners. The atlas is an original fan interpretation, not an official or licensed map product.
Advertising spaces in the interface are placeholders. Map submissions and public voting are not open yet; a “Want this map” heart on an upcoming book saves a preference on your own device.
