What you can explore

This atlas depicts the setting of The Final Empire, before later books change its geography. Scadrial is the world’s name; the playable overview covers the Final Empire rather than every era or continent of Scadrial.

Questions about this map

Is this a Scadrial map or a Final Empire map?

Scadrial is the world of Mistborn. This atlas maps the Final Empire during the setting of the first novel, with a separate detailed Luthadel scene. It does not cover the whole planet or the changed geography of later eras.

Where can I explore Luthadel?

Choose Luthadel in the map tabs, or use the Open Luthadel button above. The city scene includes Kredik Shaw, noble keeps, the river and city walls. Streets and individual buildings are interpreted rather than a street-for-street copy of the published map.

Does this include Mistborn Era 2 or Elendel?

No. The available pack is based on The Final Empire, the first Era 1 book. An Elendel Basin map and Era 2 city scenes are not currently available.

Geography and artistic interpretation

The published Final Empire and Luthadel maps inform geographic relationships. Noble keeps draw on the project’s architectural research, but individual streets, building dimensions, courtyards and character placements are artistic interpretations. The map is not a reconstruction of every street.

Read this map’s source and interpretation notes. The research notes may discuss later-book geography.

Before you explore: spoilers

The scope is the first Mistborn book’s setting, without later plot outcomes. Location names and character cameos remain visible; there is no chapter-specific filter.
